- 2014 ~ 2016
The start of the first Dosan-daero clinic
In March 2014, LIAN opened a 30-pyeong clinic with two unit chairs on the second floor of a building on Dosan-daero, Gangnam-gu; this was the beginning of LIAN's care space.
The space could see about 20 patients a day and had treatment rooms, a consultation room and a small waiting room.
As patient numbers grew, in 2015 the neighboring unit was added to create a pediatric room.
It was a child-height treatment room, rare at the time. An orthodontic center followed in 2016, and a small sterilization room the next year.
Even with continuous expansion of space, it was not enough to handle the ever-growing number of patients.
LIAN thought hard about a new care space and finally expanded and relocated to the 3rd floor of the LIAN Building in 2017. - 2017 ~ 2019
The opening of the LIAN Building era
2017 was the year that became a turning point for LIAN's development. LIAN moved its care space to the LIAN Building in 2017 and newly created treatment rooms, operating rooms and consultation rooms on a 120-pyeong floor. The treatment rooms with natural light and comfortable waiting areas earned patients' praise as 'a dentist that doesn't feel like a dentist.'
In 2018, two dedicated surgery rooms and a dental sterilization center were completed in turn, giving a systematic flow of care. - 2020 ~ 2021
Reorganizing space for infection control
When the infectious disease outbreak began in 2020, LIAN immediately reorganized its care space and created negative-pressure treatment rooms and separate waiting areas.
The reorganized space had independent ventilation for each treatment room and separated patient flow, at a scale that let patients and clinicians alike feel safe. - 2021 ~ 2022
Expansion to the 4th floor and relocation of the orthodontic center
When demand for care increased in 2021, LIAN quickly expanded the 4th floor, moved the orthodontic center and consultation rooms, and carried out expansion works.
As a result, by around 2022 most care spaces had been newly refurbished, and the orthodontic center recorded as a rare scale for an individual clinic in Gangnam, a digital lab built alongside the 3D imaging room, and LIAN's first seminar room were completed. - 2023 ~ 2024
Expanding space in step with growth
In 2023, LIAN grew greatly in outward scale.
As specialty care centers and the number of clinicians increased, care space also grew; in particular the periodontal clinic, microscope treatment room and staff training center, which can accommodate many patients, were built. - 2025 ~ 2026
A new transformation of patient flow
With many spaces refurbished from the 11th anniversary in 2025, LIAN has gained a care environment of a scale counted among the top for individual clinics in the Gangnam area.
During this period a patient lounge, recovery room and consultation rooms were built, and spaces to improve the clinicians' working environment were completed, including treatment rooms with the latest digital equipment and interiors with eco-friendly materials.
Alongside the expansion of a digital lab at the level of the first in Gangnam, a new pediatric waiting room opened, and the LIAN Smile Lounge, seminar hall and patient education room were also completed. - 2026 ~
A space that holds warm innovation
In 2026, for its 12th anniversary, LIAN began reorganizing its space around the patient experience.
Spaces that consider the experience before and after treatment, such as flow design that reduces waiting time, a quiet recovery room and a family consultation room, are due to be completed in stages.
